It is with great pleasure that I write the inaugural editorial for the Babura Journal of Science, Engineering and Technology (BAJOSET). On behalf of the entire Editorial Board, I extend a warm invitation to all stakeholders to join the BAJOSET team in championing the fundamental principle of science, engineering and technology: benefit to humanity. BAJOSET, a biannual journal, is a distinguished publication owned and supported by Federal University of Technology, Babura (FUTB), aims to publish original scientific, engineering and technological research papers, reviews, and philosophical discussions. Our goal is to provide a robust platform for emerging researchers across Nigeria and beyond to gain recognition within the academic community.

We are dedicated to advancing scientific, engineering and technological thoughts and progress as a beacon of excellence and distinction. We take pride in maintaining high academic and research standards from the outset, with a strict zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism and other forms of misconduct, ensuring a transparent and progressive approach.The maiden edition of BAJOSET is a testament to teamwork, dedication and progress. We extend our gratitude and congratulations to the management of FUTB for their vision, guidance and support in bringing this journal to fruition.

The commitment from the two pioneer schools as well as other various stakeholders is highly commendable, and we anticipate that their enthusiasm will continue to drive us forward, ensuring that BAJOSET remains a valuable resource for knowledge dissemination.We encourage authors to use this platform to showcase their research and gain global recognition, which will enhance their pursuit of excellence and support their scientific careers. We wish all our subscribers and contributors an engaging and fulfilling reading experience. We hope our efforts are met with appreciation and constructive feedback. The Editorial Board is always open to unbiased criticism and suggestions to help improve and deliver quality publications in the future.
